Cross County Trail Marathon and Half Marathon

Unknown-5The inaugural Cross County Trail Marathon and Half Marathon was definitely a memorable event with the rain and revised course due to the high water level at the Braddock Road under crossing. Everyone enjoyed wading through the newly named Frank’s Gully which will hopefully not be full of water in future races. The second annual Cross County Trail Marathon and Half is planned for Veterans Day November 11th, 2015. The marathon will start at 7:30AM, and the half marathon will start at 8:00AM. This event will take place in its entirety in Virginia on a 3.28 mile section of the Cross County Trail surfaced by crushed stone and dirt.
